ELECTRICAL ENGINEER, MAINTENANCE

Job Overview
Our client in Saudi Arabia is  seeking an Electrical Engineer – Maintenance to support the reliable and efficient operation of industrial electrical equipment and machinery. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting electrical faults, improving equipment reliability, and maintaining a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities
Work with senior engineers and technicians to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical systems.
Support maintenance activities involving power distribution, motor control systems, PLCs, and automation systems.
Assist in diagnosing electrical faults and implementing effective corrective solutions.
Support maintenance of stationary industrial machinery and mobile heavy equipment.
Contribute to technical projects focused on equipment reliability, operational efficiency, safety improvements, and energy savings.
Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts using digital maintenance systems.
Participate in technical training and develop knowledge of new technologies, safety standards, and maintenance practices.
Work closely with engineers and technicians to identify recurring equipment problems and improve maintenance processes.
Required Competencies
Basic understanding of electrical principles, power systems, PLCs, and control circuits.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Interest in understanding equipment operation, faults, and root causes.
Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop practical technical skills.
