BIM Manager
Job Description
About the Role
Our client in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to support the delivery of a major mixed-use development incorporating sports facilities, entertainment, arts, and associated infrastructure.
The successful candidate will lead BIM and information management activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring effective collaboration, information quality, digital governance, and compliance with ISO 19650 requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Support project delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle and coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Develop, review, and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and information requirements, including OIR, AIR, PIR, and EIR.
Establish and maintain BIM standards, processes, workflows, and governance in accordance with ISO 19650.
Manage information security and Common Data Environment (CDE) processes to ensure secure, accurate, and compliant information exchange.
Lead BIM model QA/QC, assurance, validation, and checking activities.
Ensure information models meet project, technical, and organizational standards.
Develop and maintain BIM object libraries, information standards, methods, procedures, and shared digital resources.
Support construction sequencing, digital handover, cost planning, and project delivery through effective use of BIM models and structured information.
Research and evaluate emerging BIM technologies, classification systems, and digital solutions.
Recommend and implement technologies that improve project efficiency, collaboration, and information management.
Deliver BIM training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions for clients, project managers, design teams, and other stakeholders.
Promote consistent adoption of BIM processes, standards, and best practices across project teams.
Required Qualifications
Degree-level qualification (Level 6 or equivalent) in BIM, construction, engineering, architecture, information management, or a related discipline.
Bachelor’s degree with honours (BA, BSc, or equivalent higher education qualification).
Strong understanding of BIM processes, information management, and digital construction methodologies.
Working knowledge of ISO 19650 principles and requirements.
Experience with BIM Execution Plans, CDE, information requirements, model assurance, and BIM governance.
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
