About the Role
The IT Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and supporting IT infrastructure within a professional clinic environment in Dubai, UAE. The role will ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operation of workstations, servers, network devices, software, and other technology systems.

The position involves day-to-day technical support, infrastructure maintenance, system monitoring, cybersecurity, backup management, user support, and coordination with external IT vendors.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and support workstations, servers, network devices, and other IT infrastructure.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
Monitor system performance and ensure reliable IT operations.
Perform routine system updates, maintenance, and data backups.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
Provide technical support and guidance to clinical and administrative staff.
Train users on IT systems and common productivity applications when required.
Manage user accounts, access permissions, and basic access controls.
Implement and maintain basic cybersecurity and endpoint security practices.
Monitor and protect local and cloud-based systems.
Maintain backup procedures and support data recovery when required.
Maintain IT asset records and technical documentation.
Develop and maintain IT procedures and operational documentation.
Coordinate with external IT service providers and vendors when required.
Support compliance requirements related to IT, data protection, and information security.
Ensure IT systems support smooth day-to-day clinic operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Strong knowledge of Information Technology with hands-on experience in office or clinical IT environments.
Experience in network administration and network security.
Strong troubleshooting skills covering hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Good customer service skills with the ability to support users professionally.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Experience with Windows and/or macOS environments.
Basic server administration experience.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and common productivity applications.
Knowledge of data backup procedures and endpoint security.
Understanding of basic IT compliance principles, preferably within healthcare or clinical environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple technical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
