Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
A reputable engineering company is looking for a qualified Maintenance Engineer to ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability of plant machinery, production equipment, and facility systems. The successful candidate will develop preventive maintenance plans, troubleshoot equipment failures, minimize downtime, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
Analyze equipment failures and recommend permanent corrective actions.
Monitor machine performance to improve reliability and efficiency.
Coordinate maintenance shutdowns and emergency repairs.
Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors.
Maintain maintenance records, reports, and equipment history.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance materials.
Participate in equipment installation and commissioning.
Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 4–7 years of maintenance engineering experience.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial plants, or facility management.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems (CMMS).
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Familiarity with international safety standards.
GCC experience is an advantage.
