Electrical Engineer – Healthcare Construction

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical works for hospital construction and renovation projects in Riyadh. The role involves managing electrical and ELV systems, coordinating site activities, reviewing technical documentation, and ensuring successful installation, testing, commissioning, and handover. The ideal candidate should have strong healthcare construction experience and a solid understanding of relevant IEC/NFPA standards, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage electrical works for hospital construction and renovation projects.
Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of LV systems, transformers, generators, UPS, ATS, and electrical panels.
Coordinate ELV and life safety systems, including fire alarm, CCTV, access control, nurse call, BMS, PA, IPTV, and structured cabling.
Oversee medical electrical systems, including IPS, critical care power, and equipotential bonding.
Review drawings, BOQs, RFIs, and material submittals, and resolve technical issues with project teams.
Ensure compliance with IEC/NFPA standards, QA/QC requirements, HSE procedures, and project specifications.
Monitor site progress, subcontractors, and project delivery to ensure quality and timely completion.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably with a construction company.
Strong knowledge of electrical, ELV, and healthcare systems.
Good understanding of hospital electrical and life safety requirements.
Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
