Fire Protection Engineer
Job Description
A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to design, review, and supervise fire protection systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The candidate will ensure compliance with NFPA, UAE Fire Code, and international safety regulations while coordinating with project stakeholders during design and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Design fire alarm and fire fighting systems.
Review shop drawings and technical submittals.
Perform hydraulic calculations.
Ensure compliance with NFPA and local regulations.
Coordinate with consultants and contractors.
Conduct site inspections and testing.
Prepare BOQs and technical specifications.
Support testing, commissioning, and project handover.
Prepare technical reports and documentation.
Assist during authority inspections and approvals.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering.
5–10 years of experience in fire protection projects.
GCC experience preferred.
Knowledge of NFPA, Civil Defense, and international fire safety standards.
