Civil Site Engineer

A leading construction company is seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer to oversee and manage on-site construction activities for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all work is executed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, and quality standards while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, excellent site coordination skills, and the ability to manage contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor daily civil construction activities on-site.
Ensure all work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Review construction drawings, shop drawings, and method statements.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Verify quantities and assist in BOQ preparation and material reconciliation.
Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of construction materials.
Resolve technical issues arising during project execution.
Ensure compliance with project schedules and budget requirements.
Enforce HSE policies and maintain a safe working environment.
Attend project meetings and provide technical updates to project management.
Prepare site documentation, inspection requests, and handover reports.
Support project commissioning and final handover activities.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
4–8 years of site engineering experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
GCC experience is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, finishing works, and infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
UAE Driving License (Preferred)
PMP Certification (Preferred)
OSHA or NEBOSH Certification (Advantage)
Experience working on high-rise buildings, villas, or commercial developments.
