Cost Estimation Engineer

We are looking for a Cost Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate project estimates, analyze costs, and support tendering activities for infrastructure, building, and industrial projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have strong technical and commercial knowledge with experience in estimating civil, structural, and MEP works.

The role involves reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing BOQs, evaluating supplier quotations, and supporting management with budgeting and bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities
Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs.
Develop project cost estimates and budgets.
Obtain and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Prepare tender summaries and commercial comparisons.
Support bid submissions and technical clarifications.
Maintain historical cost databases and estimation records.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams.
Prepare estimation reports and management presentations.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3–7 years of estimation experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and budgeting.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, CostX, Candy, or similar software.
Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
