Carpenter (15 person required)

A leading construction company in Kuwait is seeking a skilled Carpenter to perform a variety of carpentry tasks for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in formwork carpentry, interior finishing works, and the installation of wooden structures and fittings.

The Carpenter will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, measuring and cutting materials accurately, assembling wooden frameworks, and ensuring that all carpentry work is completed according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

The successful candidate must demonstrate attention to detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a construction team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Measure, mark, and cut wood and other materials accurately using hand and power tools.
Construct, install, and repair wooden frameworks, doors, partitions, cabinets, and fixtures.
Perform formwork carpentry for concrete structures including columns, beams, slabs, and staircases.
Assemble and dismantle temporary wooden structures required for construction activities.
Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.
Maintain carpentry tools and equipment in safe working condition.
Estimate material requirements and minimize wastage during execution.
Follow all occupational health and safety procedures while working on site.
Report any site issues, defects, or material shortages to supervisors promptly.
Support project teams in achieving construction milestones within the assigned timelines.

Qualifications
Minimum High School education preferred.
Vocational Certificate or Trade Test in Carpentry is an advantage.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Carpenter in construction projects.
Experience in formwork carpentry and finishing carpentry is preferred.
Ability to read construction drawings and use measuring instruments accurately.
Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor construction environments.

Preferred Qualifications
GCC experience will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Qatar construction safety regulations.
Experience working on high-rise buildings, villas, or commercial projects.
Valid trade certification from a recognized institution.
