Procurement Engineer

Job Description
A leading engineering company in Kuwait is seeking a Procurement Engineer to manage procurement operations for construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, supplier negotiation skills, and experience handling procurement processes for engineering materials and equipment.

The Procurement Engineer will coordinate with project teams, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely purchasing, cost control, and compliance with project specifications and company standards.

Responsibilities
Source and procure engineering materials and equipment
Prepare RFQs, purchase orders, and procurement reports
Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing
Coordinate with project and site teams regarding material requirements
Monitor delivery schedules and supplier performance
Ensure procurement complies with project specifications
Maintain procurement documentation and records
Support cost control and budgeting activities
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
3–6 years of procurement experience in construction/engineering
Strong negotiation and coordination skills
Knowledge of ERP systems and procurement procedures
GCC experience preferred
