Planning Engineer

A reputable construction company is hiring a skilled Planning Engineer to develop project schedules, monitor work progress, analyze delays, and support project teams in achieving timely completion. The successful candidate will prepare planning reports, resource schedules, and recovery plans while ensuring efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities
Develop project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
Monitor project progress against approved schedules.
Prepare baseline and recovery schedules.
Analyze project delays and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams.
Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
Assist with project budgeting and forecasting.
Conduct schedule risk analysis.
Participate in project review meetings.
Ensure compliance with project milestones.
Maintain project planning documentation.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Minimum 4–7 years of planning experience.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
GCC construction experience is preferred.
