Warehouse Supervisor
Job Description
A leading logistics and distribution company is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory, supervise warehouse staff, and ensure the timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The ideal candidate will maintain high operational standards while ensuring workplace safety, inventory accuracy, and efficient warehouse performance.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
Lead, train, and monitor warehouse staff to ensure productivity and operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts and audits.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and transportation teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Monitor warehouse KPIs and prepare operational reports.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Optimize warehouse layout and storage space for maximum efficiency.
Ensure all shipments are processed accurately and delivered on schedule.
Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance when required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse supervision experience.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of inventory management and warehouse best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent communication and team management skills.
