Process Engineer
Job Description
A leading petrochemical company is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to optimize production processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure safe plant operations. The successful candidate will analyze production performance, troubleshoot process issues, and recommend technical improvements while ensuring compliance with international engineering and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and optimize production processes.
Perform process simulations and engineering calculations.
Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Conduct process hazard analysis (PHA) and risk assessments.
Support plant commissioning and startup activities.
Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams.
Prepare technical reports and process documentation.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
Identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
4–8 years of relevant experience.
Experience in refinery or petrochemical plants preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
