Design Engineer (Mechanical)
Job Description
A leading engineering company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for industrial and construction projects. The successful candidate will prepare engineering drawings, perform design calculations, and coordinate with project teams to ensure technical excellence and compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare mechanical designs and engineering drawings
Perform design calculations and technical analysis
Develop technical specifications and BOQs
Review shop drawings and material submittals
Coordinate with project and production teams
Support project execution and commissioning activities
Ensure compliance with international engineering standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
4–8 years of design engineering experience
GCC experience preferred
