Cloud Solutions Architect
Job Description
A leading technology and digital transformation company is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple business environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing cloud strategies, ensuring system scalability, security, reliability, and supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, software development teams, cybersecurity specialists, and infrastructure engineers to deliver secure and cost-effective cloud solutions aligned with business objectives. This role requires deep expertise in cloud architecture, migration strategies, infrastructure automation, disaster recovery planning, and cloud governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Design scalable and secure cloud architectures using AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Lead cloud migration projects from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.
Develop cloud governance policies, security standards, and operational procedures.
Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend cloud-based improvements.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Ensure high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery capabilities.
Monitor cloud performance, security, and cost optimization initiatives.
Collaborate with software development teams to support cloud-native applications.
Conduct cloud architecture reviews and technical assessments.
Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.
Support compliance with industry regulations and cybersecurity requirements.
Mentor cloud engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
Minimum 7–12 years of IT infrastructure and cloud experience.
At least 4 years of hands-on cloud architecture experience.
Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of networking, virtualization, and cybersecurity principles.
Experience managing enterprise-scale cloud environments.
