Senior Quantity Surveyor

A reputed construction and real estate developer in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage all commercial, contractual, and cost-control activities for large-scale residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The role requires strong expertise in BOQ preparation, tendering, subcontract management, variation claims, interim payments, and final accounts.

The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Consultants, Contractors, and Clients to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and contractual obligations while maintaining accurate commercial records and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and verify BOQs from drawings and specifications.
Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
Prepare tender documents, commercial evaluations, and bid comparisons.
Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
Monitor project costs, commitments, and cash flow.
Process variation orders, claims, and change requests.
Prepare interim payment applications and final account settlements.
Review subcontractor invoices and payment certificates.
Maintain commercial correspondence, records, and reports.
Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and clients on contractual matters.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
Minimum 5–10 years of GCC Quantity Surveying experience.
Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, VO claims, and contract administration.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, CostX, Candy, or similar QS software.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.
