Quantity Surveyor (QS Engineer) – Construction Projects

Job Summary
Our Valued client in Saudi Arabia looking a Quantity Surveyor (QS Engineer) for its multi construction Projects , who shall be responsible for managing all cost, contractual, and commercial aspects of construction projects. The role includes quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, variation management, subcontractor evaluation, payment certifications, and project cost control to ensure projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from drawings and specifications.
Perform quantity take-offs and material quantity calculations.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
Analyze contractor and supplier quotations.
Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports.
Evaluate and process variation orders (VOs) and change orders.
Prepare interim payment applications and final accounts.
Review subcontractor invoices and payment certificates.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, and Clients.
Track project progress against budget and identify cost overruns.
Support contract administration and commercial documentation.
Maintain records of claims, variations, and contractual correspondence.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract conditions, and company procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
3–8 years of Quantity Surveying experience in construction projects.
GCC/Saudi Arabia experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and contract administration.
Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and variation claims.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, CostX, Candy, or similar QS software.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
