Design Engineer

Job Description
A leading engineering company in Dubai is seeking a qualified and experienced Design Engineer to support engineering design, technical documentation, and project execution activities for construction, industrial, and oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, design expertise, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

The Design Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings, reviewing project specifications, and ensuring all designs comply with international standards and client requirements. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple engineering tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Prepare and review engineering designs and technical drawings
Develop project layouts, calculations, and specifications
Coordinate with project, procurement, and construction teams
Ensure designs comply with project standards and regulations
Review material specifications and technical submittals
Support fabrication and site execution activities
Conduct design modifications and resolve technical issues
Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation
Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors
Ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Structural Engineering
Minimum 4–8 years of design engineering experience
Strong knowledge of engineering standards and procedures
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or related design software
Experience in construction or oil & gas projects preferred
Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications
GCC experience preferred
Knowledge of ASME, API, and international engineering standards
Experience handling industrial and structural projects
