Construction Site Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a disciplined and detail-oriented Construction Site Engineer to support execution and independent site verification for a multi-cluster residential project. This role goes beyond routine supervision and focuses on structured, evidence-based monitoring of site activities—ensuring accuracy in contractor reporting related to manpower deployment, construction progress, and site cleaning compliance. The ideal candidate will deliver data-driven insights, identify discrepancies, and ensure alignment between reported and actual site performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor site activities in line with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
- Conduct independent, evidence-based audits of contractor reports covering manpower, work progress, and site conditions.
- Verify actual manpower deployment against reported data and identify inconsistencies or resource misallocation.
- Track and validate construction progress using measurable outputs and productivity benchmarks.
- Monitor housekeeping and cleaning compliance across multiple residential clusters.
- Prepare structured daily/weekly reports with photographic evidence and data analysis.
- Identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, and potential manipulation in reporting, and escalate findings.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project management teams to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Review engineering drawings, method statements, and work execution for compliance and accuracy.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities where applicable.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards across all site operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending process enhancements based on audit findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 4–8 years of experience in construction site execution, supervision, or site auditing (residential projects preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, manpower planning, and productivity measurement.
- Experience in site inspections, reporting, and progress tracking.
- Ability to interpret drawings, BOQs, and project schedules.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and basic engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in GCC residential or multi-cluster housing projects.
- Exposure to QA/QC or audit-related roles in construction.
- Knowledge of project controls, KPIs, and reporting systems.
