Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and utilities. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and supervise construction and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Review and approve technical documents and reports.
- Monitor construction progress and resolve any issues on-site.
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification or license (e.g., PE or equivalent).
- Experience in large-scale or multi-disciplinary projects.
- Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
